01.Oct.2008 - L.A. Transmission01.Oct.2008 - L.A. Transmission

Greetings from the sauna-esque environs of our Los Angeles office (seriously, where the hell is the thermostat in this place?!) Can't believe I'm breaking a sweat typing.

Lot's of things going on- buckle up kids!

If you're as big a fan of epic mountaintop dance battles between cops and transmogrifying musclebound spirit beings as I am, then you won't be even slightly disappointed with the new TV On The Radio video for their new single "Golden Age" just turned in by our man Petro. It premiered recently at the Flux Screening Series held quarterly at the renowned Hammer Museum to rave reviews and only a couple of isolated acid flashbacks in the audience...trip out here...

In the "what have you done for me lately, Australia?" category, we answer that age old inquiry with the Moh Azima directed 'The Show' from down under's latest ridiculously cute import, Lenka. The song is so damn sweet, it'll rot your teeth. Lots of 'next big thing' talk being bandied about concerning this one. Check it out here...

The increasingly transatlantic Isaac Rentz just finished up a couple of videos for Rosie & The Goldbug while across the pond, and is currently working on a sure to be awesome viral video for Disney Interactive's Wii 'Ultimate Band' video game...

Besides recently mastering the subtle art of advanced dodgeball, Michael is currently wrapping up a clever little viral for the state of Nebraska's League of Conservation Voters promoting clean energy sources over coal based power. We care about your environment Nebraska, we really do. And always, always check in on Michael's brilliant website videothing.com-  you'll laugh, and if you're really sensitive you might cry, but you will never be bored.

That's all I got. You'll be quizzed on all this material the next time class meets.

04.Sep.2008 - Draw Latest04.Sep.2008 - Draw Latest

What a month.....

Welcome back. Draw had a manic August and we have just competed a whole batch of new work.

Goodtimes just delivered the new video for The Kaiser Chiefs "Never miss a beat" single. Its a typical Goodtimes fun packed video. Check it out here.

David Allain has not stopped working since he joined Draw. He just delivered new videos for VV Brown and The  Rascals and is on a plane to Turkey as we type to shot the new Leon Jean Marie video for Island Records. Between these jobs he also shot a viral video for Milton Jackson which was scripted by Tom Roberts at Tribal DDB.

We also had a Isaac Rentz in town from LA who directed the new video for Rosie & the Goldbug. This was his 1st. Draw UK job and the result is here for all to see. We are sure he will be back soon for more....

If that's not enough the charts are currently full of Draw work..

American band Flobots have hit the UK shores and the song and video for "Handlebars" is on everyones favorite channels. Radio 1' Joe Whiley  recently labeled the DirtyUK video as "one of her favorite videos ever" and ask all listeners to go and see it on her blog site. Its also about to go into the magic 10million views on youtube soon !!!!! Amazing result.

Dirty are also in the charts with their new video for The Fratelis "Look out sunshine" and are currently in production for the new Mercury Rev video.

Goodtimes are enjoying the comeback of the Sunny Jim video for "Cant stop moving". A new remix has brought the song and video back and its all over the charts. (Shame about the remix. The original was much better).

Apart from that we are looking forward to have Laura Lewis with us soon.

Happy days....

15.Aug.2008 - Bye Bye Jen !!!!15.Aug.2008 - Bye Bye Jen !!!!

After almost 2 years we are very sad to say Good Bye to the lovely Jen Herrera.

She has been an amazing rep for Draw, both here in the UK but also in the US with jobs for Bob Dylan, Mark Ronson and Chris Cornell amongst many more.

She brought in some great new directors to the Draw family and has been a great supporter and fan of the UK music video industry.

She goes out with a bang having only booked the Kaiser Chiefs new video for Goodtimes  (here soon).

We wish her all the best in her new job and Draw will always keep a close relationship with her.

Thank you Jen.....

We have a couple of options lines up as her replacement and will be announcing the new music video rep shortly.

In the meantime please sent your briefs to the one and only  Phil Tidy.
